check your NIC bindings and put IPv4 first above IPv6.
reboot if needed. ensure the IP of the Essentials server is the Just DNS entry on the workstation.
ping server by name - if it resolves, and then try joining.
post some consequence log entries if it doesn't work.

Very new to this type of setup so any pointers would exist greatly appreciated.

I did meet this part and noticed that http was succeeding.
I have ran the essentials tester powershell and all passes without any issues.
I have had to reinstall ca due to an iis issue even so I followed a Microsoft tutorial on removing reinstalling and verifying the certificate then it all seems ok but equally you lot are aware it'due south just this hurdle which I actually aim to fix before pushing the server fully live.
Any assistance is amazing cheers.

honestly essentials is a expressionless production at this signal. server 2022 essentials was the concluding version. i wouldn't in good conscience put a 2022 essentials in production. 2022 essentials has been discussed in other threads in this forum - it's merely a license express version of server standard. i'd go with that over the older product.
non sure why your CA had to be rebuilt - this is not normal for essentials. you could attempt to open a case with microsoft, merely take your credit menu ready.
